About the Class
During this class you will :
- Learn how to prepare your sponge cake
- Learn how to prepare fondant icing ready for covering
- Learn how to make a selection of sugarcraft decorations
- Learn how to colour and flavour your fondant icing (in your own choice)
- Learn how to successfully cover the cakes with fondant
- Learn what the best sugarpaste to use is
- Choose your own colour scheme and make ombre fancies
- Choose your own sugarcraft theme from an available selection
- Package up your fondant fancies to take home!
Please note: This class uses marzipan and so may not be suitable for nut allergy sufferers.
All materials, ingredients and tools will be provided along with class notes.
Please bring a light lunch and any special drinks. Tea and coffee and a cupcake provided.
